You can do a quick check yourself to see if a website page fails certain standards by following the links to the on-line tools on this page.
You can check pages on this site. (If you check this page it will achieve about an 94% pass which is extremely good for a Content Management System page with Flash images and a large amount of text.)
We test our websites on actual mobile devices – not emulators which don’t give a true result.

What you need to do first, open the validators:

Boundary Products Web Design is now using Html5 the latest coding and the following checker shows an error as: 'document uses a doctype that is not recognized as an XHTML doctype'. But mobile phones have excellent results with Html5, also desktop Browsers work very well with it provided the code uses the recognized coding elements.

The W3C mobileOK Checker Tool evaluates mobile-readiness using industry best practices and standards.
It provides a score out of 100 to determine how well a website performs on a mobile device.
All page scores should be well into the last green segment.

[2] Tester website for valid cod:

Test for valid code, to see whether the html code is free of errors.

Many mobile phones and mobile devices will not display a page if it has got coding errors in it.
The code has to be correct and has to be validated to W3C standards.

[3] Now choose a web page to check:

You can copy one of our page addresses (look in the address bar of your web browser) or;
Choose a different company by searching for professional web design companies in a local information business site and click through to their website and then copy their page address.

Now let’s test those pages!

Paste that copied page address into the required box on the Validator form and press the ‘Check’ button.

Then paste the same address into the W3C mobileOK Checker and press the ‘Check’ button.

You can check as many pages as you like.

The W3C mobileOK Checker won’t guarantee that the page you are testing will display well on a mobile device, but if the page hasn’t got a very high score you can be reasonably sure that the page is badly designed and built, and will not display correctly – if at all!
